Dr H G. Denham was among the passengers from Wellington yesterday morning. Mr G. G. Aitken, who has been seriously ill in St. George's Hospital this week, was reported yesterday to be a little better. The following members of the Legislative Council arrived from Wellington by the Wahine yesterday morning: The Hon. T. O'Bvrne, the Hon. J. A. Hanan and the%on. J. McLeod. Mr C. H. Perkins was elected president of the Canterbury District Public Accountants' Association at the annual meeting of the association held this week. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr W. M.
