MAN'S BODY IDENTIFIED

(MESS ASSOCIATION TEMGBAM.) PALMERSTON N., February 15. After extensive enquiries, the police have established the identity of the body of a man who was found in the Manawatu river in January as that of Edward Heading, a labourer, who was employed at the State Forest camp at Karioi, near Taihape. An inquest was held a few days after the discovery, but it will not be reopened, as there is no fresh evidence to show how Heading came to be ; n the water. It is not known whether he had relatives in New Zealand.
