Labour Party Meeting; A meeting of the Lyttelton. branch of the New Zealand Labour party will be held in the Returned Soldiers' Association rooms to-morrow evening, commencing at 7.30. Business of importance to the branch is to be transacted. Picnic Pupils of the Fendalton school and parents held their annual picnic at Corsair Bay yesterday. Although a south-west breeze made conditions rather cool, the party, which numbered 500. had an enjoyable day. Harbour Light Theatre A delightful musical romance, "The Cat and the Fiddle," is the chief attraction at the Harbour Light Theatre this afternoon and evening. In this attractive production Ramon Novarro and Jeannette Macdonald are starred together for the first time, and they introduce six charming song numbers. The short subjects include an "Oddity," a revue, a Betty Boop Cartoon, and a novelty film. Swimming The annual swimming sports of the Lyttelton District High School, which were to have been held at Corsair Bay yesterday afternoon, were postponed until next week owing to the cold weather and because the bay was occupied by the Fendalton School picnic.
