ADULT EDUCATION

SERIES OF SOCIAL GATHERINGS The first of a series of social gatherings of students of the Workers' Educational Association and their friends is to be held this evening in the association's rooms at the Trades Hall. Mr P. L>. Broad will act as musician, and the programme will be in charge of Mr G. Campbell. Originally the gathering of Christchurch, Dunedin, and Timaru students at Timaru was arranged for February 17, but it has been found necessary to postpone, it for a week. The gathering is to give an opportunity to renew acquaintances formed by students in Christchurch, Dunedin, arid Timaru at the latest held Summer School. The Christchurch and Dunedin students will be the guests of the Timaru students.
