ADVANTAGE OF CLEAN WINDSCREENS AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION'S ADVICE "One of the most important adjuncts to safe driving is proper visibility, and that cannot be attained unless the motorist gives the fullest attention to keeping the windscreen and all the windows of his car as clean as possible " says the latest safety-first mesage of the Automobile Association (Canterbury), Incorporated. "In dry weather equally with wet weather the windscreens and windows should never be neglected. Any deposit on the glass reflects light, and accentuates the trouble which many motorists complain about from dazzling headlights. Fine dust accumulates on the windscreen by day «yid causes much unsuspected trouble at night time. In the day time the dusty windscreen makes the sunlight a difficulty in driving. There is no excuse at any time for a dirty, clouded windscreen. If the windscreen is polished as well as washed frequently the advantage will be obvious to the driver.
