READMISSION REFUSED IfRISS ASSOCIATION TILCllllll.) DUNEDIN, January 30. It was reported to a special meeting of the Otago University Council that more than 20 students who began their course last year will not be readmitted to the Medical School. The report stated that 83 applications had been received for admission to the second year classes; of these applicants, 53 had passed their medical intermediate examination or its equivalent and would be accepted. Four had probably complied with the requirements of the examination and on verification would also be accepted. One applicant was not qualified. Twenty-five were sitting for the special examination; of these, three who obtained the most, satisfactory results .would be accepted.
