WORLD'S MOST ACCURATE CLOCK

DELICATE INSTRUMENT MADE IN GERMANY (Received January 31, 12.40 a.m.) BERLIN, January 30. The. Reich Institute of Physics has constructed what are claimed to be the four most accurate clocks in the world, operated by electricallyproduced vibrations in quartz crystal. It can deviate from the right time only to the extent of one twothousandth part of a second every half-year. The crystal is hung in a vacuum tube inside a double copper box containing air and aluminium feathers, which keep the temperature unvarying.
