FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT

EVIDENCE AT INQUEST (rߣii3 ASSOCIATION TELEGHAM.) DUNEDIN, December 24. At an inquest on Andrew Aitken, W. Stiven, and William Moore, the verdict was that they met their deaths when the car fell 200 feet down the side of a steep, rocky gully. There was no evidence definitely to establish the cause of the car leaving the road. Although the car left Gore with Aitken as driver, it is surmised that Moore, who intended buying a new car. was later at the wheel. The car was m perfect mechanical condition, and even after the accident the brakes and steering-gear were in good order.
