POWER BOARD LOANS AUTHORISED
Authority given in 1930 for the South Canterbury Electric Power Board to raise five loans totalling £31,920, and not exercised by the board, is renewed by an order-in-council published in the Gazette. The term of the loans is 26 years and the maximum rate of interest 3J per cent. The amounts of the loans authorised are as follows: Geraldine special area, £10,000; levels special area, £6500; Mackenzie special area, £3500; Waimate County special area, £7980; Waimate Borough special area, £3850.
