MAN ATTACKED AND ROBBED
FOUND IN RAILWAY STATION (FRBSB ASSOCIATION TELEGBAiI.) AUCKLAND, December 25. Left in the Tamaki railway station after being assaulted and robbed of £2O, Leslie Nicholson AllrigjSt, a bank clerk, aged 36, v(as found by chance this afternoon, and was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe head injuries. Considerable mystery surrounds the victim's movements before he was discovered, and the police are engaged in an effort to trace his assailants. The discovery of the was made by a youth who heard groans from within the building. He •jund that the door of the station had h<*en forced open. The injured man had a broken nose and there were several teeth knocked out. Wheri told that he .was at Tamaki, Allright was astonished, and was not able to say when or where he was assaulted or how he came to be in the district. His condition is fairly serious.
