TO TUB EDITOR OF THE rnßSfi. Sir,— Yesterday when tire postman called it was the hottest day (his year, yet the poor fellow was compelled to wear his thick coat, with collar and tie. If the Duke takes off his coat and vest this hot weather, it is surely time the Government put aside "red tape ' and allowed the postman to take oh his coat or wear a thin dark one.— YOUrS ' CtC " COMMON SENSE.
