Genera) Situation.—A shallow depresiion has crossed the Dominion and
another one is passing to the north, while a slight anti-cyclone is approaching from the Tasman Sea. Winds.—Strong easterly at first ,in the far north, otherwise light to moderate and variable, with westerly to south-westerly predominating. Seas (New Zealand waters).— Rather rough north of East Cape and about Cook Strait; elsewhere smooth to moderate. ' Eastern Tasman Sea. —Modei-ate southerly winds and moderate seas.
