WREATH FROM ROYAL VISITOR
POPPIES BROUGHT FKO.M ENGLAND The discussion which has taken place in Christchurch about the wreath which his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester will place on the Bridge of Remembrance has drawn a reply from the Department of Interne. I Affairs. The department has informed the Christchurch City Council that the wrcalh will not be of Australian flowers, as was apparently imagined in Christehureh, hut of English po|)pies, and is be in?; brought by his Royal Highness from England. The wreath is similar to those which the Duke has placed on war memorial.', in other places.
