GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S PHOTOGRAPHS

I * | EXHIBITION FOR ROTARY | APPEAL Two hundred photographs takea by the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, in many parts of New Zealand, will be shown at an exhibition to be opened to-day at th 3 D.1.C., to assist the Rotary Club's Christmas appeal. The photographs have been lent through the Photo Supply Company. Wellington, with special permission from his Excellency, on condition that the funds realised be used for some charitable purpose. The collection includes studies of Waitangi and of the Maoris, in addition to industrial photographs, sports studies, and photographs of various places in New Zealand, all of which were taken by his Excellency. A collection box will be places with the photographs, which will be shown in the lounge and tea rooms of the D.T.C., and it is hoped that a considerable sum may be raised to assist t.he Rotary Club's Christmas appeal.
