AIR RACK PILOTS
AIMMSARANCK AT THKATRK ROYAL TO-MORROW Squadron Leader M. C. McGregor and H. C. Walker, the New. Zealand flyers who finished fifth in the Centenary air race, will make a personal appearance on the stage at the Theatre Royal on Friday night only. They will give a stirring account of their sensational experiences during the great flight from England to Melbourne. The London newspaper. "Aeroplane," gives prominence to McGregor and Walker's performance in the air race, saying that, without detracting from Scott and Black's splendid feat, McGregor and Walker's flight, for sheer pluck, perseverance, endurance, and skilful piloting, is unsurpassed in the history of British aviation. "McGregor and Walker deserve to be regarded as the heroes of the race. They knocked 30 per cent, of! the record for a light aeroplane, in spite of having an open cockpit and the necessity for frequent landings," the paper adds. Considering the universal interest which the Centenary air race aroused, and the fine showing made by these two New Zealanders, their appearance here j.hould attract nifny people to the Theatre Royal on Friday night.
