SWEEPSTAKE TICKETS SEIZED
CASES ADDRESSED TO TOWN IN ENGLAND (Received November 28, 10.40 p.m.) LONDON. November 28. The police searched a motor-car going to Belfast from Banbridge and seized two large trunks containing £60,000 worth of books of Irish sweepstake tickets in cases addressed to an English town. The envelopes containing the tickets, however, were addressed to foreign countries with instructions in various European languages.
