OPERATIC SOCIETY * (SI'BCIAIj 10 THE I'KESS.) NELSON, November 2E. With the presentation of John. Van Ruten's popular play, "London WaiP last evening, the Nelson Amatear Operatic Society, after a period of itactivity, made a brilliant and welasae re-entry into the theatrical life of the city. There was a large attendant*, and with a cast composed of practically all new members of the society, unexpected talent was revealed in te performance which greatly appealed to the audience. The performers were Misses M.Jeffreys, C. Campbell. Smith, and Keith. Gilkeson and C. Slowey, and Messrs J. Baxter, R. B. McKay, Alan Brows, and F. Twiss. Mr R. Kingsfoid. & Nelson, was the producer. Mr. and Mrs C. Milner, who have been on a visit to Australia for the last five weeks, returned to Neisa to-day.
