THE RESULTS OF, A successful' WEEK FIRST PART OF HAPS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS . EVEN BRIGHTER WEEK TO FOLLOW The first week of Hay's fortnight of birthday celebrations has come to a successful conclusion. Daily crowds of eager customers filled the store. The special Birthday bargains must have attracted literally thousands of people, and Hay's have decided to continue the celebrations for another week. It should be a truly memorable time; memorable to the firm as marking a fitting end to a remarkably satisfactory trading period, and memorable to the customers for the very special bargains and other attractions offering. BRING THE KIDDIES TO "JOYLAND" ON HAY'S ROOF THIS MORNING For the second week there will be the additional attraction of "Joyland," the big roof gala playground for young and old, which opened yesterday. Grovmups as well as children will love to see "Neddy" the donkey, the real live monkeys, etc., and for the children there will be rides on the steam train, the Helterskelter and the musical Chairoplane. The roof will be open every day, weather permitting. A Gift Ticket costs 3d and as well as the present, for child or grown-up, includes entrance to the Roof.
