_> PETITION DISMISSED i Before Mr Justice Johnston) After hearing further evidence yesterday morning in the case which occupied the attention of the court for the whole of Monday, his Honour dismissed the petition by Albert James Hern, of Christchurch, agent (Mr A. C. Cottrell), for divorce from Mabel Thurza Hern (Mr D. W. Russell). His Honour said ho was satisfied that the grounds of desertion had not been proved. Costs were allowed to the respondent on the lowest scale.
