LODGE MEETINGS
A meeting of the Court Thistle of the Forest Lodge, No. 6494, A.O.F, was held recently, the chief ranger, Bro" P. Boulton, presiding. An appeal was Received from the Forester's home fund, Bexlcy Heath, England, for assistance, and it was decided lo forward a donation. The annual children's Christmas tree function which will be held on December 22 was discussed, and no effort will be spared to make this year's function the moat successful yet held. The quarterly meeting of the Loyal Addinglon Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., No 6544, was held- in the lodge room' Dickens street. Bro. G. F. Dawson (Acting N.G.) presided over an attendance of 30. Candy, P.G.; dispensary/delegates, Bros. W. H. Larcombe, P.G., and H. A. Gibson, P.G.; vigilance committee, Bros. F. A. Iggo, P.G., A. Gow, D.D.G.M., and J. A. Clarke, P.P.G.M • conductors, Bros. K. McK. Yarrall and L. M. Yarrall, P.G.'s: degree masters, Bros. A. Gow, D.D.G.M., and H. W Gourlay, P.D.G.M.; joint official reporters, Bros. H. W. Gourlay PP G M and F. W. Larcombe, P.G. It was decided to install the officers next lodge night. Bro. H. W. Gourlay moved a remit for the next district conference "That three compete editors be appointed by the North Canterbury District Conference to edit the Handbook." Ihe expenditure was £225 Is lid.
