* CHRISTCHURCH DEFENCE CLUB The Chriatchurch Defence Rifla Club fired Uo third two-rango competition on Saturday afternoon, at Taj Tapu. The jay was fin<; and warm with a light south-w.'Jt v.ir,d that at timed wua inclined to be tricky fur the competitors. It. li. won with two consistent scores of 46 each. F. liickeubotham in second place also shot well for two scores of 45. W. Oakley ahot a brilliant 48 at 600 yards. Conditions were 10 shots each at 300 and GOO yards.
