IRON AND STEEL INDUSTRY
INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN APPOINTED (BBITJSB OFFICIAL WIHBLESS.) (Received November 16, 7.40 p.m.) RUGBY, November 15. Sir Andrew Duncan, chairman of the Central Electricity Board, has been appointed independent chairman of the Iron and Steel Federation, which includes 14 industries and more than 40 associations. It is recognised that he will play an important part in the future development of a scheme for the reorganisation of the industry.
