«——. GREYMOUTH PERSONAL (SPKCUC. TO IBM FR«SS.) ..GREYMOUTH, November 16. Sister D. Eate, of the Grey Hospital staff, has been appointed to the position of dispenser Radiologist. The Rev. J. K. Archer, of Christchurch, is visiting Greymouth. Mr J. Shiels returned yesterday to Dunedin. Mr and Mrs W. B. Cunningham returned yesterday from a visit to Melbourne. Mr A. B. Spiers returned yesterday from Christchurch. Mrs H. Moore returned yesterday from a visit to Sydney and Melbourne. Obituary The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Alice Foster, wife of Mr William Foster, of Boddytown, at the residence of her brother, Mr B. Tindall, Russell terrace. A native of Cobden, she is survived by her husband, three brothers and three sisters. The death has occurred at Melbourne of Mr Rupert Linneman, son of the late Mr and Mrs C. Linneman, of Hokitika. Mr Linneman, who had been in Australia for some years, served his apprenticeship as an engineer at the Greymouth Dispatch Foundry. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs J. Kay (Greymouth) and Mrs G. Davidson (Hokitika), and one brother in Honolulu. Herd Testing The Westland Herd Testing Association figures for October were:—Cows, 767: average fat. 38.07: average test. 4.1; highest herd, 52.48 (27 cows in herd); lowest herd, 23.07 (26 cows in herd); highest cow 81, lowest cow 13.
