MELBOURNE CENTENARY
THOUSANDS OF VISITORS FROM NEW ZEALAND MELBOURNE, November 15. It is estimated that 3000 New Zealanders are visiting Melbourne for the Centenary celebrations, and many more are booked for the next few weeks. The direct shipping service to the South Island is facilitating traffic. The Maheno sails for New Zealand in the morning, carrying passengers who were accommodated aboard while the vessel was in port, thus relieving the hotels.
