YEAR BOOK FOR THE CITY
♦ APPRECIATIVE COMMENTS RECEIVED The Town Clerk iMr J. S. Neville) has received many congratulations on the attractive set-up and informative value of the Christchureh city yearbook, which has just been published. Appreciation of the value of the yearbook has been expressed in many quarters in the city, and at the recent conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand 40 of the books were procured for the delegates. The book has an extensive advertising value for the city, for it is sent to many parts of the Empire, as well as to prominent men and organisations all over New Zealand.
The following are some of the comments received by the Town Clerk:— The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe: The booklet is most attractively compiled and one which will be of considerable use to me.
His Majesty s Trade Commissioner, Mr R. Boulter: The booklet has been placed in the commercial library where it will be available to all interested callers and to me in answering any enquiries I may receive about Christchureh.
Mr E. J Howard. M.P.: Congratulations on the splendid job tho book is ...he lnlormation is good and the printing much above the average u Mr J*X rUi ? rancis - Vice-Consul for the Netherlands: A very interesting and instructive book.
