LAUNCH WRECKED
DRIFTED ASHORE NORTH OF AUCKLAND (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, November 6. The 34ft fishing launch Ellar drifted ashore and was wrecked near Leigh yesterday. Nobody was 011 board. It is believed that the launch was being towed from Whangaroa to Auckland by another launch and that the towline parted on Sunday night. The towing launch has not returned, and it is thought that s'he is searching for the Ellar.
