PREMIER THEATRE, NEW BRIGHTON

"FRIDAY THE 13TH" AND "THE CHIEF" The new programme which commences a three-night season at the Premier Theatre, New Brighton, tonight is headed by the mystery comedy, "Friday, the 13th," which stars Jessie Matthews, who is one of the most popular stars on the screen today. The story of the picture is something really new in screen fare, a glimpse back through time to see just how fate threw 18 people together into a bus that crashed on the fateful day, Friday, the 13th. The second feature is a rollicking comedy, entitled "The Chief," and stars the favourite of America's radio world, Ed. Wynn, supported by Dorothy Mackaill. It is a picture replete with laughs. The box plan for all reserves is at Hudson's. chemist, or patrons may telephone the theatre, 37-447.
