Heavy rain overnight and this morning caused a postponement of the secand day of the Auckland Racing Club's meeting until to-morrow, the occasion being the first on which a postponement has been made at Ellerslie since the third day of the winter meeting in June, 1924. The ram ceased before midday, and the afternoon has been fine, although the weather is still dull and theatening.
