Commercial Bank of Australia had business at 16s 3d, sellers staying in at that price, buyers at 16s Id. Bank of New Zealand were firm, with buyers tuid business at 'lt's o'd, sellers at 48s lOd. Reserve Banks remained unaltered, witli buyers and dealings at £0 10s 3d, sellers at £6 10s Gd. General Mercantile Mutual Insurance changed hands at 24s (id, and more were offered at that figure, buyers at YAs 3d. Dalgetys had business at £9 4s 6d, market closing £9 4s buyers, £9 6s sellers. Goldsbrough, Morts were firm, with sellers' and business at 31s Od, buyers nt 31s 4d. New Zealand Refrigerating 10s paid changed hands at 9s 2d and 9s 3d, and there were further buyers at 9s 2d, sellers at 9s 4d. Buyers of Canterbury Frozen Meat raised their bids to £lO 2s Gd, sellers at £lO 10s.

New Zealand Breweries showed an easing with dealings at 51s and 50s (id and further sellers at the lower price, buyers at 50s. Tooths were firmer, with buyers at 49s lOd, sellers at 50s 3d. The announcement of a final dividend of <:, per cent, (making 10 per cent, tor the year) by Amalgamated I Wireless was responsible for buyers I advancing their offers for shares m J that company. British Tobaccos were I firmer on buyers' offers. 40s 7d. Broken Tlill Proprietary were fractionally weaker at 52s lOd and 52s 9d, and there were further sellers at the lower price, buyers at :52s 3d. Dominion Fertiliser were tinner at, 20s (id and 20s 7d. clos- | ing quotations 20s Gd buyers, 20s 8d I sellers. Dunlop Rubbers advanced to I !9s 0(1 and 19s lOd, sellers staying in at the higher price, buyers at 19s 7d I Mason. Struthei-s. £1 paid, had busii i.ess at 15s ! Mining Gillespie's Beach had dealings at Is fid, market closing i.d on either side. Goldfields Dredging were fractionally weaker at lOd, and there were further unsupported .sellers at that price.
