SCHEME FOR CLOSER LIAISON (CHESS ASSOCIATION TBLSQEAW.) WELLINGTON, October 11. On the motion of the president, Mr W. J. Poison, M.P., the Dominion executive of the Farmers' Union resolved Hhat, in order to create a closer liaison between the meat and dairy industries and to enable mutual problems to be jointly considered, it be a recommendation to the Government that one of the Government-nominated members of the Meat Producers' Board should be a representative of the dairy industry and one of the nominated Government members of the Dairy Control Board be a meat representative.
