RETURN OF CABINET DOCUMENTS
I ♦ MR J.ANSIHRY REFISKS LONDON. October 7. It is officially explained that no sjgnificance attaches to the request of the Cabinet to former Ministers and the executors of deceased Ministers to return Cabinet documents. The request was not connected with the publication of memoirs but was inspired by the possibility of documents falling into wrong hands. There have been instances of documents finding their way to bookstalls. Some Ministers have returned their papers. The only, case of a positive refusal was that of Mr George Lansbury.
