The Waimarino should arrive here to-nicrrcnv from the south to ked iur Pieton and Auckland. The Wainui is due here on 'Linurday from Timaru, and is to sail the same day for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Kiwitea is due hero on Saturday from Westport to discharge a small consignment of coal. She should sail the same day for Port C-iaV.u-rs, Dunedin. and Oamaru. The Breerc is timed to load for Lyttelton to-morrow for Wellington Wangamii, and New Plymouth. The Taupata should arrive here on Friday from Tarakohe, and wili Joad for Nelson, Mapua, and Molueka. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-vessel Orari is being fitted with special chambers to carry chilled beef. The total cost of maintaining the Dominion's coastal lighthouses during th.-; Marine Department's last financial year was £20,775.
