Knight/./ CIVIL SERVICE CLUB FORMED ELECTION OF OFFICERS An enthusiastic meeting of civil servants decided last evening to form a Civil Service Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, to be affiliated with the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. Mr J.K.Moloney, president of the centre, Was in One chair. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Dr. A. C. McKillop; president, Mr J. K. Anderson; vice-presidents, 16 were elected, including most of the heads of the various Government departments: honorary secretary, Mr L. D. J. Smith (justice); honorary treasurer, Mr E. J. Lynskey (Lands); club captain, Mr S. T. Barnett (Lands): committee. Messrs C. A. Guy and A. J. Marshall (Mental Hospital), J. M. Johnston (Valuation), A. R. Edwards, A. W. V. Reeve. D. P. Lane, F. N. Klrwan, and H. D. Beaumont (Post and Telegraph), E. J. McEachen and W. P. Noble (Public Works), T. M. R. Jones (Child Welfare), and H: G. Holmes, together with three representatives of the Railway Department, • end one from the Police Department, :with power to add; delegates to Canterbury Amateur Athletic Centre, Messrs L. D. J.
