DIOCESAN CHORAL ASSOCIATION
JUBILEE FESTIVAL The jubilee festival of the Diocesan Choral Association was concluded ia the St. Luke's Parish Hall last evening, with Mr Albert Freeman in the chair. Supper was served by th« ladies' committee after the programme was finished.' and dancing followed. Accompaniments were played by Mr Claude Davies. Items were given by the following:— Vocal solos. Miss Sherwood <St Peter's). Mrs Murphy (St. Matthew's), Messrs Morgan <St. Barnabas's\ Dobbie (St. Matthew's). Albert Freeman (St. Peter's). Wilson (St. Paul's), Hobbs (St. Barnabas's), B. Deighton (St. John's); piano duet. Miss' Harris and Miss Palmer (St. James'); piano and violin. Messrs W. F. Blacklock and E. J. Blacklock (St. Chad's); vocal duet, Miss Puschell and Mr Milne (St. Augustine's); and recitation,, Mr&Wilson. An amusing sketch, called Biter Bit." was also given by members of the St. Augustine's choir.
