ACCIDENTS
COLLISION WITH COW Graham W. Gallagher, a butcher's assistant, aged 17 years, of Prebbleton, collided with a cow while riding a motor-cycle at' Prebbleton, at 9.15 on Saturdav evening. He was taken to the Chrislchureh Public Hospital in a St. John Ambulance and was admitted at 10.20 p.m.
j HEAD INJURIES Mr Stewart A. Gibb, of 49 Alexandra street, Richmond, suffered head injuries when he collided with a tram, while riding his bicycle at the corner of Tuam and Colombo streets about 1 o'clock on Saturdav afternoon. An accident which resulted in the death of Judith Thompson, aged 22. occurred on the Waikiwi bridge, en the Main North road, at 5 o'clock tins evening. She was riding pillion on a ; motor-cycle driven by Arthur Cecil Hormann when it came into collision with a motor-car going in the same direction. The woman was knocked off the motor-cycle and suffered from concussion. She died shortly afterwards without regaining consciousness LORRY DRIVER DIES OF INJURIES L'UF.SS ASSOCIATION TKI.EGKAU.) Sidney Robert Shewciry, aged 24, single, died at the Waikato Hospital this afternoon from a fractured skuJl and internal injuries sustained when a motor-lorry he was driving plunged over a 40ft bank near Kawhia last evening. Shewcjry was picked up semi-conscious and taken to hospital this morning. His relatives live at Remuera. Auckland. Wellington, about 6 p.m. on SaturdayDonald McLean, a seaman on the Storm, aged about 57. fell into the harbour. Although resuscitation was apparently successfully carried out when he was rescued, he died while being taken to hospital by the ambuIrncc.

Colin McDonald, a motor mechanic, of Masi.erton, was admitted to the Mastciton Hospital suffering from shock, cuts, and bruises sustained who: a rar driven by K. A. Harcombe. a garage proprietor, capsized on the main road near Greylown, about T.oO p.m. yesterday. The ear, which was proceeding to Masterlon. struck a boulder, and the front wheels developed a shimmy which affected the fleering- and the car lett the road, hit a stump, and capsized. The two occupants, Harcombe and McDonald, were taken lo hospital in an ambulance. The former Is also .suffering from cuts and bruises, but was able to proceed home after receiving medical attention. The car was badi" damaged. McDonald's condition is reported lo be satisfactory.
