LODGE MEETING
The Chief Ruler. Bro. J. Provan. presided over the fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Christchurch Tent, 1.0. R., held at the Young Men's Christian Association on Monday last. An apology was received from P.C.R. Bro. A. Wilson. Sick stewards' reports were given and sick pay passed for payment. Reports of the juvenile tents' meetings were given by Bro. R. Anstiss and C. Lord. Bro. \". D. Bunt reported on the provincial council's meeting. Reports were received and delegates thanked. Invitations were received to visit the Philipson Tent on Thursday, October 25, and Ark of Refuge on Wednesday, October 31. After the usual business of the tent visiting officers and members from the Sons and Daughters of Temperance divisions of Christchurch and Rangiora were officially welcomed by the secretary, Bro. C. H. Bascand. Various visiting members responded. An apology was received from the Kaiapoi Division, who were unable to be present. At the close of the meeting the Glee Club was in charge of the social portion of the evening, and a novel programme was enjoyed by all.
