Wellington Canadian Conqueror, City of Winchester, Golden Cloud, Karepo, Karetu, Maori, Mariposa, Monowai, Nucula, Rangatira, Rangitata, Rangitiki, Rotorua. Sydney Maru, Tamahine, Tamaroa, Tymeric, Waikawa. Awarua—Abel Tasman, Makura, Maunganui, Nolisement, Remuera, Waikouaiti, Waitaki, Wanganella, Wyatt Earp. PERSONAL Captain E. R. Lowe has relieved Captain R. M. Kane as master of the Tamahine. Mr L. H. Boon has been engaged as third engineer of the Parera. Mr L. Gillan has rejoined the Kaimai as chief officer, relieving Mr E. J. Deed, who is at present standing by at^Wellington. Mr J. Joyes, who has been on holidays at Sydney, has rejoined the Ngatoro as second officer, vice Mr A. W. Rabbitts, who is coming ashore on special leave. Mr R. F. Dewar, late second officer on the Oonart, is at present awaiting instructions at Wellington.

AKAROA LEAVES COLON The Akaroa. which left Auckland on September 14 for Southampton and London, sailed from Colon on Tuesdayafternoon after an exceptionally fast trip of less than 18 days to the canal. TAINUI EARLY The Tainui, which was to leave Opua on Thursday to complete loading at New Plymouth, Wellington, and Auckland, is now due at Wellington next Tuesday. She is to leave Wellington on October 12, and Auckland on October 17 for Southampton and London, via Panama. KARETU FOR MELBOURNE The Union Company's Karetu left Wellington on Thursday night for Westport to load for New Plymouth. The vessel will then proceed to Melbourne, Edithburg, and Adelaide to load for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Castlecliff, New Plymouth, and Auckland. H.MjS. LABURNUM'S CRUISE H.M.S. Laburnum, which was undocked on Wednesday after undergoing refitting at the Devonport Naval Base, was to sail yesterday on a cruise to Tauranga, Picton, Wanganui, Nelson, New Plymouth, Wellington, and Gisborne. She will return to Auckland on January 15.
