A member of the Ellershe town Board was faced with a dilemma at a recent meeting of the board, when standing orders demanded that he vote for either a motion or an amendment, while he dissented from both. When the chairman ruled that all members must vote, the member overcame the difficulty by retiring while the vote was taken.
