The Paris correspondent of the "Daily Express" says: "The Qua) D'Orsay has received information from agents in Germany that the Reichswehr is to be increased Iron: 100,000 to 300,000. Thus a flagrant breach of the Versailles Treaty is being committed. ''Twcj hundred thousand picked youths will serve a year and then will give way to a fresh batch. During service they will be paid GO marks a month and when tile;' leave they will receive a bonus of 150 marks and a certificate of fitness for civil employment. "At the end of the first six months recruits will be informed whether they are suitable as officers, and if they are, the year in the Reichswehr will count as part of their university course. Already there is a rush of students io enrol."
