I A sentence of six months' imprison-m-nt. to be followed by 18 months' retormrdivj detention, was passed by Mr W. K. McKean. S.M.. in the Magistrate's Court on Leonard Lock, a labourer, aged 40. who had been convicted on 14 charges of obtaining sums from insurance companies by using lal.o names and representing Hint he had never been previously insured, and had never previously claimed nst an insurance company. Tlie , anvunt concerned totalled £lB7 10s. It was stated that in the Jast four years the accused had ekimed under different names for 25 accidents.
