PACT OF AMITY IN BALKANS
HOPES FOR INCLUSION OF BULGARIA (Received September 27, 10.20 p.m.) BELGRADE, September 27. King Alexander and Queen Marie left for Sofia to visit King Boris. It is understood that King Alexander hopes to induce Bulgaria to sign the Balkan pact of amity, which at present includes Jugoslavia, Rumania, Greece, and Turkey. GORDON BENNETT RACE - —♦ POLISH BALLOON WINS WARSAW, September 26. The Polish balloon Kosciusko won the Gordon Bennett race, landing in Finland. It covered 807 miles. Polish competitors were also second and third.
