The tennis season, which has just begun, often finds many enthusiasts inconvenienced by feet out of condition. This is particularly the case with those who have to be much on their feet in ordinary shoes, every day of the week, or on the other hand, those who sit a great deal and do not get much walking exercise. Feet which are healthy should be able to stand an extra amount of exercise without developing blisters or aching muscles, and the best thing to do is to get them into good condiion by a little regular attention. The first thing most people do when their feet feel tender is to soak them in noi water, and if they leave it at that they may make matters worse. Hot water relaxes the muscles, and unless they are toned up again they are apt to become more tender than ever. The water should not be too hot, and a few drops of glycerine should bo added to it,.
