Beau- ; mont Pease, chairman of Lloyds Bank, to-day on his arrival by the Empress of Britain en route for i Australia and New Zealand. He hoped, however, that a boom would not develop. Of banking conditions in Britain, he said the proportion '. of loans to C - posits was lower than for many years.
