Superintendent, J. Lister was in charge, and after the inspection gave a short talk on "circulation." Ambulance duties were then arranged. The usual parade of the Christehurch Ambulance Division was held in the rooms on Wednesday evening. Superintendent W. M. Palmer presided over a lair attendance. When the business of the evening was concluded the division was exercised in roller and triangular bandaging. The Selwyn Nursing Division met m the Brigade rooms on Tuesday evening, when Mrs K Angus, lady divisional auporintenden*. presided over a fair attendance of members. Rugby Matches A Rugby football match is- to be played this afternoon in South Hagley Park (near the basketball grounds), between teams from the St. Matthew's and Christchurch Cadet Ambulance Divisions respectively. The match will commence at 2 p.m. Next Saturday afternoon a seven-a-side football match will be played on the same grounds between teams from the Young Men's Christian Association and the No. 3 Cadet Ambulance Division respectively. I The Bledisloe Cup I The official secretary to his ExcelI lency the Governor-General, Lord I Bledisloe. has written to the assistant i commissioner. Dr. F. J. Borne, advis- ! ing that his Excellency has given his : approval for the champion of cham- ' pions cup to be called the Bledisloe Cup. This cup was given by their Excellencies and afterwards presented by Lord Bledisloe to Sergeant George Mapstone, of the New Brighton Cadet Division, at the brigade inspection held on Saturday evening.
