LECTURE TO WAIMAIRI BRANCH A meeting of the Waimairi branch of the North Canterbury district of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held recently. There was a large attendance Mr A. Leslie, of Lincoln College gave an interesting address on dairy cattle and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks at the conclusion of bis remarks.

"The Meaning of Money" will be the subject of a luncheon address to be given to members of the Advertis-
ing Club on Monday next at the Fras* cati. The speaker will be Mr G. Law]; Lecturer in Economics at Canterbury University College. The subject chosen is of much importance, ana tne talk should prove interesting and instructive . Anyone interested is i»" vited to attend.
