IRELAND AND THE EMPIRE
CHANCE FOR INFORMAL CONVERSATIONS j ! A MEETING AT GENEVA j (Received August 2D, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 29. The "Daily Herald" says it is reported that Mr de Valera is going to Geneva as head of the Free State delegation to the League of Nations. "This opportunity to meet the delegations of the British Empire will give a chance for informal conversations on the Anglo-Irish situation without anything like arbitration. The other Dominions might be helpful and it would be a pity to miss such a chance," says the newspaper.
