A resident of Orepuki, who possesses njany valuable Maori relics, added to his collection recently by a visit to the Tokanui river mouth. Besides several articles of value, a human skull in good order was picked up. It was thought that the skull was of a victim of one of the cannibal feasts of the Maoris. Except for four, which had fallen out of the top row, the teeth-were perfect.
