The winner of the £2OOO prize in the "My Lucky Star" art union is a native, Mr Ernie Boyd, of Greytown. Pie Is a married man, about 45, with a large family. It is reported that lately he came into a fairly large sum from his parents' estate in Hawke's Bay. Another legacy is believed to be due now. Mr Boyd has a farm at Greytown. He proposes, it is reported, to put some of the money into motor-vehicles for the farm. THE SECOND PRIZE MAN AND WOMAN SHARE £.*>oo The .second prize in "My Lucky Star" art union of £SOO, which was won by a "Mcrci Beaucoup" syndicate, has come to Christchureh. Miss Itita Grenfell of 22 Chancellor street. Shirley, and Mr D. G. Silvester, of 231 Durham street, shared the ticket. Neither Miss Grcnfell, who is employed in the shop of Mrs Farra at the corner of Manchester and Tuam streets, nor Mr Silvester, who is a stonemason, has decided what will be done with their windfall.
