NEW BRIGHTON SCHOOL
ARRANGEMENTS FOR FLOWER SHOW A meeting of the New Brighton spring Ho-.ver show committee, under the auspices of the local District High School Committee, was held last evening The chairman of the school committee, Mr A. E. Lawry, was in the chair. , , . The schedule was approved and includes four sections tor pot plants with trophies given by Messrs Hull and Dean, and 20 classes of cut flowers, special prizes having been given by Messrs W. E. Chadwick, D. S Turner, A. Shrubshall and Company, and Miss W. Palk. The schedule also pLovid.s for a children's pet show, an exhibition of infant room work, and of school work. The noNt meeting of the committee wa> fixed for September 19. The following are to be asked to net as judges:—Flowers, Messrs M. J. Harnett: cakes. Miss F.
