In the billiards match, Lindrum has scored 10,278, including a break of 751. Davis (in play), has scored 9736, including a break of 646. CANTERBURY AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP The second round in the Canterbury amateur billiards championship was continued in the Lyttelton Club's rooms, when J. J. Kearns (Police Social Club) beat R. " McKay (Post and Telegraph Club) by 300 to 250. Kearns made breaks of 27, 27, 23, 24, 20, and 38. McKay's best breaks were 23, 21, 37, arid 26. The game was very even until 260 was reached, when Kearns made a break of 38 and ran out soon after. Mr S. Whale was the referee.
